The Maine Oyster Bar & Grill is very quickly becoming one of my favourite places to frequent in Dubai.
From the moment you walk in, the stunning Hamptons-esk decor just intrigues you to want to find out more. Their bar has an amazing New York “Sex & the City” style vibe to it where you could easily find yourself transported to another world of chic cocktails and Mahattans vibes. Rather obsessively, I (may) have frequented the bar on a few occasions lately for their evening happy hour where I have got acquainted with their fabulous cocktails followed by some of the best ceviche dishes I have ever tasted (drunken scallop ceviche, a must try) and also their Wednesday ladies night.
Their ladies nights is definitely a little gem of a find. In offering unlimited wine, The Maine immediately received a tick from me but once it became clear punters are given a choice of a variety of red, white & rose wines, it quickly moved to another level. Adding to this the DJ was “on fleek” as they say!!
I would highly recommend at your next available opportunity (run don’t walk) to gather your close girlfriends together, occupy a small space at the bar or the stunning outdoor area, indulge in some really nice wines and let the DJ & decor transport you to the land of Carrie Bradshaw if even just for a few hours.
Outside of Wednesday night, this place is equally as perfect to indulge in happy hour drinks before progressing on to dinner.
While we were there I did notice they have an incredible lunch deal for 99 AED for 3 courses including a glass of wine or beer which is most certainly next on my list to try along with their brunch specials to extend my slightly obsessive love for this new haunt.
